Man is a sinner by birth not by performance
Romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
Man’s disobedience brought the sin debt
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God:”
God provides the free gift of salvation through Jesus
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.
The Gift of Salvation is received by faith not works
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
The faith process for salvation
Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
• Hear the message of salvation
• Believe and receive the sin debt paid by Jesus
• Confess Jesus as Lord
• Begin the mind renewal process
• Determine to have God’s best
