Could you imagine for a moment
God saying to you: [Insert your name here], u are My Love Vessel. Selah (take a
moment, pause, and think about that). What does that mean to you? What do you
think being God’s Love Vessel entails? Do you really even think this
designation is something you can carry out?

Really I can stop right there. If you ever really considered
the power in the blood of Jesus, I wouldn’t have to finish this blog. You would
be in such a state of immobility that you would literally get stuck right where
you are. O THE BLOOD OF JESUS!!!

Have you ever thought
to yourself: Why am I going through this? What is the point of this? Why does
it always feel like I get the brunt of everything? Well, that's because
everything you are experiencing, everything that you are going through, every
situation that is coming against you, God is using to prepare you.

There is a song by William McDowell called ‘I won’t go back’ that we sing often during the times that we meet. It is a powerful song and whenever we sing it, it reaffirms for us our commitment to God not to return to our old life or our old ways of doing things before we came to have a personal relationship with Him. It is a song that really does cause you to examine your heart and take an assessment of just how God has changed you and how much better your life is with Him now.

In 2012, here is what we have to realize: this is a year
where we cannot do what we do the way we did it last year and years gone by.
Are you hungry for something? Are you believing God for something? Then from
now on, I want you to listen to what you allow to come out of your mouth …because
either you believe what you say or you don’t!

Giving is an amazing thing. In fact, sometimes it seems
counter-intuitive to what we’d naturally expect. That’s because it is, in God’s
Kingdom. God has, it seems, a backwards Kingdom. The last shall be first, the
first shall be last. When we are in need, He says we should give.

Giving is a subject that, when preachers start talking about it, people get uncomfortable in the pews. I understand that, because giving has been so corrupted and perverted as a teaching by some pulpits, that the simplicity and beauty of giving has been lost.

you to do? If you’re like me, you’ve felt that way from time to time. Today,

Think about it: That was the ultimate penalty of the law, to show you that you are guilty and you could not stand before a righteous God; and the penalty of that is death. It has to be, because the Bible says that Jesus Christ fulfilled the law, right? And what was His reward for fulfilling the law? Natural death.

Once in a while, spending a bit more for great seats is worth it.
Some time ago, my wife Margo and I had been blessed unusually prior to a trip. So, we decided to buy the best seats in the house to see a Cirque de Soleil show. It was a sacrifice because the tickets weren’t as cheap as others in the room; in fact, it was a stretch for us. However, we did it because we were told we’d be able to see the majesty and splendor of some things up close that you just can’t quite see from the back of the room.

The Bible (Matthew 11:28-29) shows us where Jesus said (I’m paraphrasing) to come to Him all you who labor, or are working hard, and are overburdened, and He will make you rest.

I love giving presents, and I love getting presents. Nothing is more exciting at Christmas gift exchange times with family than to watch young children rip open presents, only to see the very thing they put on their "wish list” of things they wanted for Christmas.
